Time to paint the sky.
Walking through the countryside with my Sony A7 camera and my 50mm lense, I capture the beauty of the sky before it turns completely black, an equally beautiful sight.
Of the things I photograph, sunsets are my favourite. They decorate the sky, creating silhouettes of nature and usher in the transition from day to night. It's an amazing time to be out.
For me the sky speaks volumes, it changes its mood according to colour, it takes on a personality of its own and as the colours merge together, it brings a sense of unity, thus resulting in a beautiful mass of colour called a sunset.
I hope to re-visit New Zealand when we are free to travel again, I want to capture the extraordinary scenes, the New Zealand sky produces. For example, the sun going down behind the mountains, how it drenches the extraordinary New Zealand scenery with its beauty.
When taking that evening walk, look up appreciate what's above as well as what's below.
"Sunsets are proof that no matter what happens, everyday can end BEAUTIFULLY"
